Hi, I’m Selin
I'm an interdisciplinary visual artist with a focus on digital storytelling and cultural exploration. With a BFA in Illustration from Parsons School of Design and a minor in Communication Design, my academic background is rooted in shaping visual narratives through thoughtful storytelling and creative direction.
Professionally, I’ve had the privilege to work across diverse creative environments; from leading VIP programming and guest relations for a city-wide cultural event, to managing operations in contemporary art galleries, to driving content marketing and rebranding initiatives at a tech startup. Each role has deepened my understanding of how art, people, and communication intersect, and reinforced my commitment to creating meaningful, resonant experiences.
Over the years, my personal practice has evolved to include photography and art direction as mediums to explore and communicate the connections between art, culture, and immersive storytelling. Driven by a desire to bridge personal engagement with collective experience, my projects invite viewers into spaces where they can find meaning in the stories that shape our world.
